There was a child went forth every day; And the first object he look'd upon, that object he became; And that object became part of him for the day, or a certain part of the day, or for many years, or stretching cycles of years.

Wellspring invites you and your young child to mornings of song, play and craft making in a warm home environment. Together we prepare a wholesome snack and join together in song and play. For parents with their children ages infant through age three and a half in the Wellspring Nursery Room. Children, especially very young children, love to explore the world with all their senses. At the Morning Garden they will encounter toys and play materials that are natural and that nurture wonder and imagination. Activities will include bread baking, and crafts that reflect the changing season. The teacher will lead discussions about the Waldorf approach to parenting and child development. Each program meets for nine Mondays or Fridays, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., during the fall and winter/spring sessions.
