The elementary and middle grades challenge the child’s intellectual being through math, science, geography, history, English, Spanish, form drawing, reading, art and mythology. Each student creates a lesson book for each study block.

In all programs the imagination is stimulated throughout the curriculum. All students have the opportunity to knit and crochet, sculpt beeswax and paint in watercolor. Woodwork, flute, recorder, strings and choral are also offered.

The faculty invites you to visit our Open Classroom Tours to observe the heart of a Waldorf school’s academic day — the “Main Lesson” in the grades. Open House events offer the opportunity to meet faculty and parents and visit classrooms to view children’s work. Refreshment and discussion conclude each visit.
